Bob Foster
Bob is a “veteran” volunteer with the Festival whose work with the festival began on the Parade Committee. Over the years, Bob has gone above and beyond the call-of-duty assisting the Festival by sitting on the Board, serving as Chair of Downtown Productions and currently the Lottery Committee as well as serving on many other Oktoberfest committees. His hardworking attitude, commitment and personality are extraordinary as he is passionate about keeping the Bavarian Germanic culture alive within Oktoberfest. His love for the Festival is infectious. Both Bob and his wife Anne are members of Hubertushaus (German-Canadian Hunting & Fishing Club) and serve on the Conventions Committee. As well, his son Scott is a member of the Onkel Hans Committee. Bob truly exemplifies the meaning of service and what volunteerism is all about at
Oktoberfest.

Andy Teminski
Andy Teminski has served on the International Talent Committee for 26 years and is the coordinator of the Ein Prosit Awards. Andy can be easily spotted in a Festhalle as he’s usually wearing lederhosen accompanied by crutches. In spite of his almost annual knee replacements, he has always managed to make sure the job gets done. For those who have the pleasure of volunteering with Andy, they always look forward to his Saturday morning meeting to tally the scores from the band judging on Friday night and to enjoy his culinary expertise. Aside from Oktoberfest, he is the President of the Kitchener Musical Society Band and plays the tuba. Andy has truly “written the book” on treating his fellow volunteers like royalty.

With our thanks…Please accept our admiration and gratitude for your many years of service, participation, and dedication! We salute and congratulate you!
